• You are required to obtain and complete an application form
• All documents in Spanish (e.g. police report) must be translated to English by a certified translator

Applications take approximately 6-8 weeks to be processed from the date that a properly completed application is received with the necessary supporting documents and fees.  Failure to meet any of the requirements outlined above will result in extensive delays.

The completed application, supporting documents and fees may be submitted to:

Hours: Monday – Thursday 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., Friday 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

The applicant or his authorized bearer may take the documents to our office at the above address during our Consul Hours or utilize a courier e.g. DHL or FedEx.

Upon completion the passport and supporting documents may also be collected from our office by the applicant or his authorized bearer with signed letter.  The applicant may also make arrangements and payments with DHL or FedEx for the collection of documents from our office.

Fees may be submitted by cash or international money order or bank draft (giro nacional in Mexico, giro internacional for other countries) payable to the Embajada de Jamaica.  We do not have facilities for direct deposit. We do not use Western Union or other money transfer services.
